Confidence is attractive

Make no mistake, how self-confident you are has a lot to do with the quality of life you’ll live; nowhere is this more apparent than in our personal lives.  When you feel good about yourself, it is bound to be reflected in your relationships with others.   Conversely, if you don’t have a positive outlook about the person you are, this too will have an impact on your relationships.

Confident people have a healthy self esteem.  These are people who know how to assert themselves without being overly aggressive.  Confident people know that at times they will need to be the teacher, and at other times, the student; people with a positive self image can maintain a high degree of confidence under different sets of circumstances.  Clearly, having confidence can lead to successful relationships with others – the foundation of a peaceful private life.

If you are person who struggles with confidence, a good way to work on this skill is within by starting in your personal life.  It is much easier to practice speaking up to someone who close to you if this is something you are not accustomed to.  When you become confident enough that you see your personal relationships improving, it will encourage you to transfer this knowledge to other areas of your life as well.

Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing

Whether we talk about the personal or the public life, living with confidence will caused you to fly higher than you ever could with no confidence at all.  If we teach people how to treat us, imagine how well they would treat of if we required no less.  For this reason, it behooves us all to search within and find all those reasons we have to feel confident about our place in the world.
